Eagle MascotSoftball Takes 3rd

The Lady Eagle softball team got the year off to a good start, taking 3rd place in the WEMO Conference tournament. Jasper, coached by David Osborne & Gabe Haddock, mucked their way through a 8-1 win over Rich Hill in less than ideal conditions to start the season. The tournament then shifted locations from Liberal to Jasper and the Lady Eagles cruised to a 18-1 drubbing over Lakeland on their home turf. Next up was an early season test against the defending conference champion Adrian Blackhawks. The orange and black fell 2-1 and moved to the 3rd place game, where they went on to smack Archie 11-2.
